China Charging Alliance: EV Infrastructure Grows by 1.86M Units in Q1-Q4 2026 From January to April 2026, China’s EV charging infrastructure saw an increment of 1.863 million units, a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 49.4%. Notably, private charging installations surged by 100.5% YoY to 1.673 million units, while public installations recorded 190,000 units. As of April 2026, the national total has reached 21.955 million units, marking a steady 47.4% growth in China's commitment to green energy.
